"Emily Dickinson in Song"
Emily’s poems and letters have attracted many composers to set them to music, and samplings of this large treasure are woven into this beautiful program. Virginia has over six years of exploration and deep research on the musical settings of this revered poet. The prestigious New Texas Music Works featured this program in their three-day symposium in 2002. In the same year her program is presented at the Dallas Meadows Museum and in summer festivals in Amherst, Massachusetts.

The weaving of arias and duets from favorite operas into a love tapestry with piano or orchestral accompaniment. The program may be selected from The great scene of Sieglinde and Siegmund in Wagner’s Die Walküre, Madama Butterfly,Turandot, Aida, Tosca, Otello, Fidelio, and Andrea Chenier.
John also offers Neapoiltan Songs, and tunes popularized by Mario Lanza such as " Be My Love", "Because", and "Beloved".

Selections from Britten’s Canticles and other compositions for tenor. Andrew hasgained recognition for his depth of communication of these beautiful and mystical works. He joins with mezzo-soprano, Natalie Arduino, when offering the Abraham and Isaac Canticle No. 2.
