AMERICAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA LEAGUE. Very good, generally current, info on new legislation impacting the arts. Though not as relevant to singers, gives one a good feel for the interests, and the complexities, with which orchestras deal . www.symphony.org

ASSOCIATION OF PERFORMING ARTS PRESENTERS . The largest ‘trade’ organization is expanding whom they serve. This is an important organization striking out to the cutting edge of the new century. Read the paper on Interdependence and you can see where our field is headed. www.artspresenters.org

ANDANTE.COM a subscription site ($9.99 a month?), is major. They have contracts with these orchestras to have live streaming of their concerts! Teatro alla Scala, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Wigmore Hall. CLASSICAL IS COOL site. Wall Street Journal says it is the best classical music site. Incredible links and info here. Check it out! Lots of sound bites. I learned of this from Mona Golabek’s "Romantic Hours" on radio- a superb program and an illustration of an appealing ‘recital’ format. www.classicaliscool.com
