But more importantly, a singer should be fully engaged in every step of his career, and explore his mind for unique ways to express his individuality. Our comprehensive assessment offers tools to empower you to take the lead in developing your own career. Prior to the consultation, Dr. Collins reviews the materials you will be asked to send along with an agency questionnaire. This enables us to style the session time to be of greater benefit to you. A thirty minute audition will be scheduled on the day of the feedback/discussion session. The session will be 90 minutes and include audition observations, comments on the materials you submitted to the agency, and suggestions for a plan to maximize your self-expression. New York appointments generally are offered every two or three months, with Dallas appointments arranged on a more flexible schedule. Inquiries about upcoming schedules may be made by e-mail or fax. Conductors and Instrumentalists As the process of developing a career is relevant for all musicians, a consultation for conductors and instrumentalists can be equally beneficial. This two-hour consultation, which is preceded by Dr. Collinss analysis of the materials requested of you, does not involve an audition. Applications may be requested and appointments scheduled in the manner described above. A personal meeting is preferred and most beneficial, though it is possible to have a consultation by telephone if the goals can be accomplished in this manner.
